After graduating from Venice University Institute of Architecture (2008), Damiana Lucia Paternò obtained a PhD in the Preservation of Architectural Heritage from the Politecnico di Milano, with a thesis on the restoration of Palladian buildings in the 19th and 20th centuries. Since 2008 she has been a teaching assistant at IUAV and is currently a research fellow there. She is conducting studies on Palladio’s building techniques and drafting a project for a catalogue in cooperation with the Centro Internazionale di Studi di Architettura Andrea Palladio, with whom she has collaborated since 2010.
